Anal prolapse

I saw two young girls a while back involved in anal sex. What I found disturbing was not the sex but rather the goal of such. One girl was involved in licking the others anal canal until it became so large -- about the size of a billiard ball -- that her rectum began to appear. At first I did not know what I was witnessing, I've had anal sex with many women but never saw anything like this. I didn't even know what I was seeing and more importantly I wanted to know if what they were engaged in was dangerous. I contacted a girl (via email) who I thought would have the answers (she is a pornstar)-- indeed she did. She told me that what I'd witnessed was an anal prolapse and that she wasn't sure if it was dangerous but told me that having been a nurse herself sometime back, she didn't think this was safe. Question: are these girls, or any others who engage in such activity endangering themselves? And how do you get the message out to these people that they might indeed, be injuring themselves? What are the consequences of such activity?
Thanks for the info,
DAVE

I'm a male with an anal prolapse. My anal prolapse was caused by work related stress(extra dry stool & much blood), which caused me to push really hard. Anal prolapses get worse over time to a point, especially anal leakage. An anal prolapse is not dangerous, unless, the rectum cannot pull-itself back into the butt. If it must be manually pushed in, then the intestine has a chance of strangling itself and cutting off the flow of blood, to the point where the intestine starts to die. Otherwise, there is currently NO SURGERY TO CORRECT THE RECTUM\INTESTINE BACK TO NORMAL FUNCTION(water-tight, no mess, smell-free). There are horror story after horror story in message forums about failed surgeries, resulting in even less continence(more anal leakage), as well as colostomy bags! All surgery accomplishes is shortening the intestine, a good thing, when necessary. You will have-to manually "help-out" bowel movements. After 20 years, you become accustomed.
