Am i pro life or pro choice

I view myself as pro life but I agree with pro choice up to 12 weeks because after three months I believe it should be pretty obvious you are pregnant and should sort it out before the deadline. Also I am severely against that new infantacide law in New York.

You are pro-choice with certain restrictions.

    • Couldn't I just be pro life with some restrictions?

Well, a pro-life person wouldn't be open to abortion in the early stages of pregnancy.

I suspect that you are a person who has been more pro-choice in the past, but has been increasingly leaning more and more towards pro-life. Your opinion on this controversial issue is your own journey, and I don't think it's necessarily that important for you to label yourself. I think what's more important for you to live mindfully, and make choices that reflect your own morals, and values.

  • You're pro choice. Real pro lifers don't agree with abortion basically ever from what I've seen.

Pro-choice and pro-life isn't exactly a black and white issue. It's alright to not pick a side, and it's probably better to not be dedicated to one view and open to discussion and new information.

I think this is one of those issues where there's no middle ground. You're either pro abortion or you're not.

My views are that they should drastically reduce the time up to which abortion is allowed because people should be taking responsibility for their sexual health, and if sexually active should be regularly checking if they are pregnant, so there's no excuse not to know after 4 or 5 weeks. At that point if you don't want to be pregnant then you need to get an abortion booked right away, which would just be taking a tablet. No surgical abortion in sight unless it's a medical necessity. I believe there should be a stringent interview process to determine whether or not an abortion is the right choice, and I believe that if you've asked for a second abortion that you should only be granted one on the condition that you agree to either permanent sterilization or long acting contraception. Failure to comply means no abortion.

These views are generally considered to be anti feminist, old fashioned, right wing etc, but nonetheless, as I do agree with abortion in some very specific circumstances I am still pro-choice. You can't be both. From what you've said here you are also pro-choice.

You can be only one and not both. Either pro-life or pro-choice. You're clearly a pro-choice person.

I'm also against the new law but am pro choice. You're not alone.
