Almost impossible to make friends after dropping out of highschool

I dropped out of highschool when I was a sophomore, it wasn't 100% my choice but after that it's been extremely hard for me to meet anybody. I should be a senior right now so it's been a few years. At the moment I don't have a job either, pretty much the only way I'm able to meet anybody is if I talk to somebody while I take a walk or go shopping. But that has never worked out because I'm a girl and if anybody talks to me or actually cares about anything I have to say they just want my number or they want to hook up. I've been extremely lonely these past few years because of this and I barely have any friends.

Best bet is a job where you have to interact and work with folks your age. Easy to become friends with coworkers.

I'm sorry to hear that and I am not sure if it's normal or not. But my suggestions are:
    1. making friendships on the internet
    2. making friendships at church
    3. joining a club

Interesting. Most high school drop outs are content to watch TV all day long.
