Airplane food vs prison food which is worse?

Out of these two options which foods are the worst of the two.

I'd like to know. :)

  • There's no threat of airlines serving you nutraloaf, at least

  • I’ve cooked at a prison. The only protein we served was this thing called “Machine Meat”, and it is probably the foulest thing I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. I think I’m pretty damn good cook, but there is nothing in this world that you could possibly do to that stuff to make it even remotely appetizing.

  • Airlines use food that have constipation in mind. It's also why they skimp out on giving you a satisfying amount of liquid. Which is completely ok given that waiting for a bathroom on an airline is super tedious.

As for an unrelated answer food for the navy is fantastic when we get supplied. Talking everything from brisket to lobster. Worst case was just a warm cup of cream of mushroom. Perhaps the only downside is that seasoning is up to yourself. So if you wanted something with more flavor you would have to bring half a spice rack with you.
