Fuck Ritalin and this adhd nonsense. I don't have the focus to read either, and I can be quite hyper but you couldn't pay me to medicate myself for it.

The poll is a bit pointless since you already seem to be diagnosed with ADHD and are medicating, unless you are asking us what we think you have.

If you need help with ideas to beat boredom, I think I could come up with a few. Though I don't know what it's like to have ADHD, I do know what it's like to be bored.
First idea: Read while exercising. Nothing extreme, where you can't read while doing it. Start with something simple and repetitive, and don't worry about how many times you do it.
Second idea: Reward yourself after you do something you find boring but want to do, such as studying that involves reading. It can be listening to a song or eating a skittle. You decide and find something that works for you. It also doesn't have to be finishing what you are doing. It could be getting to a certain point, for a certain time, or just trying in the first place.
Final idea: Anytime you get bored; write. It can be about anything, and you can start with how bored you are and how you can't stand reading. Write it like you are telling a story to a group of kids. As you write about how you can't study because you get bored reading about chemistry(or whatever you are studying), read part of it and then write about how you can't read about how baking soda and vinegar react together, or whatever you just read about, without getting bored. Keep telling the kids the story as you go.

Ritalin sounds interesting recreationally though. Todd Rundgren made his one brilliant album on Ritalin!
