About to be 38 and i just feel old, iin?

I’ve felt old the past few years. 36, 37, and now 38 approaches. Somehow it just feels so much older. I don’t look my age generally, I look 30ish.

It doesn’t help I’m interested in/attracted to younger guys. But I don’t think that’s the only influence. I work with a bunch of 20 somethings and that affects my thinking. The more the younger millennial generation changes and I disagree with their ideologies, the more I don’t relate or jive, the more I feel alienated and even showing my age. Some part of me wants to own my age though, acknowledge I do possess some wisdom that the younger generation lacks.

But I feel Old like I’m 50 or something. It makes no sense. I’m not 50 or some old geezer. I just feel too old. Like I don’t want to be this old.

Normal but you're not old. In today's world 38 is like 28.

Im starting ro feel old physically. One thing I notice the most is if I get out of shape I hurt while I'm getting in shape. Ill wake up and my knees will hurt. My shoulder hurts i have no idea why. Im starting to believe the secret to having a great body in your 50s is never get out of shape. Because as you get old its harder to go from out of shape to in shape. Easier to maintain.

20 Year-olds are not millennials. We're zoomers. And yes, zoomers are probably impossible to understand when you aren't one yourself. Hell, even I struggle understanding my peers lots of times.

Pretty sure they’re still millennials. Take offense if you want.

        Millennials, born between 1980-1995.
        Zoomers, born between 1996-2010.
So I guess it's a bit of both. Both have one thing in common though, they're a bunch of libtards.

Probably not, but they were the ones that kinda started the trend to begin with.

Yeah it’s on the cusp. There’s also disagreement on the years too.

Both generations are more technology addicted/enmeshed. But I actually grew up and remember life without the internet and computers in my younger years. It wasn’t until I was in JR high/HS that AOL got big and things took off.

So that’s another reason I don’t like being looped in with millennials. More importantly, when they first created the term over 10 years ago, my year bracket was NOT included (say, pre 1990- that was gen y) then they merged gen y and millennials. There was a distinct difference at one point.
