A dream about a shapeshifter

In my dream it takes place at night, rain is pouring, people are sleeping, thunder can be heard from the background, trains can be heard from a far, while cars pass by. A strange friend is in my room it was a shapeshifter who can turn into anything, but my parents went knocking so I told the shapeshifter to turn into a human ( it turned into a teenage girl in that dream. ), it started talking but it doesn't know where it came from other than the shapeshifter had crashlanded to my garden so I had no choice to keep it at the same time it the shapeshifter was curious about my home. So one day the shape-shifting friend of mine began learning the human language but for some reason was scared of other people. But the antagonist who was the mother alien came for the shapeshifter but I helped the shapeshifter attack the mother alien while slicing the mother alien to bits. After a while I got used to the shapeshifter living in my room.

It is a pretty weird dream to have huh?
