Agreed... I'm trying to figure out how to do chore list differently this coming up summer. Cause the youngest 2 never really did dishes by themselves or done laundry b4.. They know how they just dnt want to do it lol. Its called LAZY! We've complained to my boyfriend's brother bout his kid.. He told them they need to listen to us if they dont i will take away their ipod.. They wld spent all day on ipod, cell phone, tv, eat all kind of junk food. I try make the rules but they get very sneaky & disrespectful sometime when i feel like they dont really help.

It shits me when kids are raised like that. Sounds like you have a better idea of how to parent than the kid's parents.
