  • I'll buy that. But when it's cold, people tend to stay indoors or are too busy trying to stay warm to do much fighting. Heat brings people out and also brings out their tempers. Also, people do more drinking in the heat, which just adds fuel to the fire. Or at least that's what I've seen.

    • I agree, people definitely go out more when it's hot than cold, which in itself brings out more chance for conflicts. But, when they do have to go out when it's cold, the extreme cold can make people just as uncomfortable and not shy to fuel out at someone getting in their way. This is especially true during Christmas season when the traffic is horrible with people out shopping or doing God knows what else getting ready for the holidays. As for drinking, yeh, I think people drink more when it's warm because they're less likely to want to go out to bars or to party on a Saturday night in Janurary when it's snowing verses an 85 degree Saturday on Memorial day weekend.
