You and your tomboy friend have known each other since little. You grew up playing sports together, fighting each other, doing all the things as if you were two guys.

Then, one day it happened. It is not clear who brought it up, but you two have finally agreed that both need to satisfy sexual urges. While you two DO NOT THINK OF EACH OTHER AS GIRL AND BOY, your body parts are suitable to give each other pleasures.

Your friendship now becomes friendship with benefits. You do not love each other as lovers, but instead just two entities that need their sexual urges satisfied.

    No girly girl would enjoy my lifestyle. No frilly undies, dresses or heels. Have you ever seen make up after steering a sailboat through a rain squall (think horror movie)?
    So a tomboy would be the perfect partner, especially with benefits.
    Sign me up. Wait a minute. I've already got one of those and she keeps telling me she loves me, too. I guess I'm doing OK.

      If you two love each other as boy and girl, then it is considered a different scenario. Here we are talking about (almost) two boys who love to take care of each other's needs.

        that would no longer be the situation if they decided to become friends with benefits. It would not resemble a gay relationship, if the guy asked the guy already thinks of her as a girl. if the girl asked the guy would either: 1)find her attractive and start seeing her a s a girl
        2)find her unattractive and refuse, still seeing her as a girl
        resume seeing her as a guy after sufficient time had passed and if the relationship stayed the same as before.

        the guy would not think of himself as sleeping with another dude. especially after a good nights sleep ;]
        And the guy would not say no, just because she's a tomboy if he finds her attractive(as a female)

        for a girl to ask a boy, she must be into boys or she would not ask, because the boy is not acting feminine in this scenario. as such she must see herself as a tomboyish girl not a guy asking out another guy for a homosexual relationship.

        ALL THIS IS ONLY ACCURATE IF BOTH PARTIES ARE STRAIGHT, I am not qualified on commenting on the homosexual mind, as I have no personal experience.

    I think this kind of friendship with benefits is very sweet and unselfish, unlike boy-girl relationship, which is a lot more complicated.

      most boy-girl relationships are like that(what you perceive to be friends with relationship relationships.)

      the term friends with benefits actually belong to a more complicated relationship where both parties or one party uses the other for sex without ever being romantically attached or involved or confessing their feelings.

      in Facebook terms such a relationship is "Complicated"

      boy girl relationships tend to be more straight forward, at least in my part of the world. if they like each other they go out, it normally starts of as friendship, mostly as childhood friends. if the marriage is arranged the usually know each other(Asian Families.)

      For friends with benefits, the true nature of the relationship is never known, one may love the other or they may both not be in love, one may fall in love with a stranger which may or may not cause hurt to the partner depending on their feelings, it's a mess.

      I see the asker's poll to have become a boy-girl relationship, it is no longer a friends with benefits deal.
