Kids think they understand what's going on between their parents, but they really don't, and their parents' sexual relationship is none of their damn business.

You have the right to expect your parents to love and care for you, but you don't have the right to expect them to treat each other in a particular way. That's their relationship - not the parent-child relationship - and you should strive to keep your nose out of it.

If your father should ever find out about your mother's messing around, he might be irrational and stupid enough to make things awkward for you, but no reasonable parent expects their kid to act as a watchdog, spy or snitch.

I would confront her. Sometimes you think you know what is going on but you might have it all wrong

Do something subtle that reveals she is cheating, and set it up so she doesn't know it was you. Then when your dad finds out, if he is cool witg it nothing happens, but if not, then problem solved.
