I dont think it has anything to do with race. Smh, idk what to say, I mean how long have you been with him?? A few flags, ask him straight out why he won't come ,you've offered a lot n still he's not, tell him stop playing around be truthful,n stop wasting your time n heartache on someone ..he needs to be honest as to what's going on n not ' oh I'm not coming there by Meyself TF it is that,lame answer. You need more than this excuse.

Not only he should be grateful but also humble. Is very disrespectful of him to prend both trips are to be covered by you or your mom. He's not a child that can't travel alone.
But most importantly; how long have you known him...!? Do you really know his honest and true intentions...!? Is he worth all this nonsense...!? What does your mom has to say about all this...!?
