Well, I know that famous murderers get a lot of letters,
but I was just wondering if anyone on here would do it.
It doesn't have to be fanmail, it could be a letter about anything.

I snorted at "fanmail".
Dear Murderer,
You're the best ever at murdering and my most favourite murderer ever. The way you ended that mother and her small child was just way cool. Do you plan on beating or killing any other children? If so, please make a tee-vee show about it. It'd be so cool to see you doing your stuff. Also, I think you're a murderer because your parents called you Gillian even though you are a man. Do you ever think about this? If you do and you think the same, then we must be psychic and have to get married. I am very fertile despite never having been pregnant or knowing what the fuck I am talking about, but hey, I am in your thoughts.

Don't actually print out this letter and send it to a murderer. That's happened to me before. Didn't end well.
Why in the world would anyone want to do that, unless they were friends before the incarceration?
I just don't get the murderer/fan mail thing at all. It's weird, unhealthy and just plain pointless to me.
I was thinking of writing to Richard Ramirez but then he died. I might write to Rodney Alcala or Glenn Helzer.
Why? It's just like writing to any other stranger, only that this stranger happens to have killed someone. Why does that make them worthy of your time and thoughts? I don't understand idolising a killer.
