Would you wear a collar in public?

Weather it’s a leather collar made for humans or a dog collar, would you wear it out in a public place like shopping or going out on a friday night? (Not to work or any place where someone might recognize you)

I first thought of the kind of collar that priests wear, but there you go...

do not call yourself a retard unless you wear a football helmet and ride the short bus.

Even if so, you think you are retarded? I know people who are ten times as retarded as you.

I think I'd get more free hugs by wearing a super fluffy faux fur jacket. A collar sounds like too much fuss and discomfort and not enough reward.
    Furry jacket wins.

I would not do this. But if you want to then I don't think anyone would stop you

You should specify why. Are you into some kind of kink or this just a fashion statement. I assume you either are fishing for kinksters or else believe the fashion trend is seen as gawdy.

        • It is definitely a kink thing, although I dont really know why I enjoy it if half the time it makes me nervous. I can get away with wearing wrist cuffs at work because my office’s dress code is so relaxed, I can wear an oversized sweater and pop those on underneath. Call me crazy if you will.

I say wear the collar sparingly because you don't want the novelty to wear off too fast.

I have certain things I like to wear that might be considered taboo, nothing as extreme as a collar but still "fetishy" I guess.

I have, I love being collared. I'm increadibly into pet play so it sets well with m3. If I could I would be collared all the time even at work. They are just wonderful all around. Someday i want a tounge ring with a copy of my collars tags attached to it so even when I'm not collared I'll still be tagged and reminded of what I am

Isn't a collar like a choker? If so, no because I'm a man, but my girl love to wear them

    • Yes and no, I am not refering to thin necklaces that also act at a “collar”. Im talking about something that has a buckle that can also be locked.

Well since quite a lot of guys think I'm a dog because I'm not attractive I have sometimes thought of wearing a dog collar because since they think I look like a dog then maybe I should wear a collar and feel more like a dog :(

I've worn black, spiked ones before. It's usually when I feel like wearing something Gothy.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • No way. I hate calling attention to myself, and have no interest in wearing a collar anyway.

I'm not old or a "Wrong Generation" moron, I just use the word a lot because I like it and it's honestly just kinda fun.

Chokers are hot af on women as long as they're less than 1" in diameter, not made of leather or vinyl and definitely do not have spikes, studs, or rivets on them.

      1"??

They can be upward of 3 inches if they're lacy and have a pattern

        Comment Hidden ( show )
          -
        • 3 inches + is eventually just a neck brace/ posture collar and those are not pretty IMO

My question was that 1" diameter would fit on a thumb maybe. I guess you're talking about the height or width or whatever.

Oh yeah diameter was the wrong word lol

              Comment Hidden ( show )
            • Its the width, the amount of neck you are covering from chin to collerbone
