Yep, I woke up choking with reflux the other night, which combined with emphysema (exacerbated by bushfire smoke) felt as if I was going to die because I couldn't get my breath. It took a lot of effort to sit up and start breathing again.
I used to, I can't remember what the medication was, but it's something lots of people are prescribed. A couple of years ago research indicated people taking this medication who already had heart problems were more likely than not to die sooner, so I stopped taking it.
Would you tell your s/o if their cooking sucks?
