I very occasionally wake up with acid reflux and I absolutely HATE it!
I was taking medication for it until I read that it increases the risk of heart attack and two heart attacks are two too many. I mean the medication, not the reflux itself.
I just stopped taking acid reflux meds.( One can cause cancer, one heart attacks and one depletes your magnesium). I found if i dont drink coffee i dont get reflux anymore.
Having just had my morning mug of plunger free trade coffee, I can't contemplate giving it up for the sake of not having reflux a few times a year!
I suspect that I'm much more likely to experience reflux if I eat hard to digest food late in the day, especially if it's just before I go to bed, so I'm trying to break that habit.
Would you tell your s/o if their cooking sucks?
