I don't think it's that selfish. For one there are risks in any operation. Then there is recovery from said operation.
For two, you're saving a life, even if it's for a price. Most would say life is worth more than any amount of money, so at the very least you wouldn't have to feel guilty.
Personally I would require about $100,000 to sell a kidney.
