i really doubt any doctor would ever say he'd never recover and will remain as he is forever. i'm calling bullshit on that one. i've seen so many people who've had strokes that lost almost all function of the affected side of the body, who regained 95% function back, through physical/occupational/speech therapies, and obviously hard work and dedication. it all depends. so no doctor in their right mind would ever say that, cause you just don't know. but that aside, i'd try my best to stay loyal. he was there for you during your hardest times; it's only fair that you stick around through his. that's what best friends are for. :)
Would you remain loyal to a friend who is hopeless?
