At the same time I liked a lot about the 50s too. There was strong family values. The chivalry thing still existed and hadnt backfired yet. I think a society can function well if the family structure is strong. The women were able to stay home because the wages were better. I would argue mothers staying home and taking care of the kids is good for the children. The women wanted to have kids too that was just what we did back then. You grew up, got married, made good money and had kids.
But I have a feeling women are better in bed now than then. They also had bush. For those reasons alone I choose 2021.
