I just don't appreciate anyone bringing my cat into these sort of discussions. I would never choose any human being over my cat except for my own two parents. I don't appreciate the whole all people are more important than all animals point of view. You're free to believe whatever you want, but so am I.
When I say you don't like animals, it's because you talk about them like they are just things. To people who truly love animals they are not just things.

But that doesn't change the fact that I see less of you as a person because you would rather save your cat than another human being. Don't you think that is a little bit selfish? Your cat means a lot to you and I can tell, but most humans mean a lot to other people in their lives as well. More, I would argue because they can communicate better, relate better ect. Considering you are way more religious than me I would think you would be the one to show more compassion, even to a stranger than myself. What does it say about religious people if they value human life less than Christian hating outspoken athiests? This goes way opposite to everything I know about Christianity.
I think less of you, because of some of your opinions with which I do not agree, but I do not attempt to manipulate you by trying to make a big deal about it. You have expressed empathy for rapists, and that is not something I can respect. Rape should be a capital crime! Rapists are human garbage. It is not acceptable for one human being to violate another human being, or even an animal in ways that can cause permanent, physical, and psychological damage. If a person rapes another person, and the victim later goes on to commit suicide the rapist should be tried for murder. For many victims/survivors of it's worse than death.
Also if you ever put yourself in me I would cut it off, and make you eat it!
I am not defending rapists what the fuck mate? Castration and a life sentence is what I would go for. Now how can I simultaneously have empathy for them, while wishing they had their dicks cut off and were thrown in jail for life? That makes no sense to me.

I feel like they deserve the right to live if all they did was rape. Thats all I'm saying. All that 'defense' was defending their right to live. The other issue I have with the penalty for rape being the firing squad, is how difficult it can be to figure out the details of the crime. Like if people are intoxicated or on drugs, or if their is conflicting evidence, some form of disagreement about implied consent, or its statutory rape by a month or something like that, or what counts as rape verses just sexual assault? Is groping to the point of a 'hand job' count as rape? How do oral and anal count the same? There are a ton of gray areas with rape and its not as simple as you think. Women on my campus have accused people of rape when I've been there and know that no sexual action took place. And even if he wasn't officially convicted, the suspicion can still ruin people's reputation. Some women take advantage of this power and not all accusations are true.
I don't really care how you choose to see me. The fact remains that if given a choice between killing an animal, or a person I would chose to kill neither, and like I said many times before chosing not to decide is still a choice. I really don't have any reason to to kill an innocent person, or animal. For the most part I probably wouldn't ever kill anyone unless it were in self defense.
I think the thing that is most annoying, aggravating, and even triggering about this whole silly, hypothetical scenario bullshit is that that what other people choose to do, or feel is as important to you? Why are the opinions, and beliefs of others like myself so important to you? You can condemn, or judge me, or anyone like me for whatever reason you so choose, but the truth of the matter is that you, me, and everyone else on this site is powerless to change other people, and their opinions.
It's a futile cause. Whether, it's an argument about animals vs people, or a debate about whether chocolate, or vanilla ice cream is better there will always be people who disagree with you as well as people who agree with you.
Why does this upset you so much? Why is it so hard for you to accept that not everyone agrees with you? This is the thing that annoys, and concerns me most about all of this bullshit, and this whole discussion is just that, it's bullshit.

You should not take what I think of you personally because I mean next to nothing to you. But I do think its a little rude to disregard the honest question that OP asked. If this discussion is all useless than why are you trying so hard to defend yourself? I want to encourage you to really think about your position. Would you feel just as bad hitting a deer that runs in front of you on the road and killing it as you would if it was a toddler? Don't adress me personally, and I will try not to adress you either. Its the idea more that I have a problem with. I don't think you have thought it through very well thats all. I haven't heard much logical support for your stance, and thats what I am here to hear!
Most people would feel worse hitting a toddler than a deer in an automobile, and I actually hit a deer in 2017. It was an especially big deal, because the deer just got bumped, but that bump knocked the front bumper off the car. It's good thing the deer wasn't bigger, or it could have been much worse!
You addressed me personally when you said, "Sticking my penis in you is worse than a knife in your neck?" I think that was a very inappropriate, disrespectful, and shitty thing to say. If you did that to me I would do my best to kill you, or at least cut it off! Your statement was really vile!!!
