I'm not a young mother, i don't regret it. I can teach my kids better than a 20 years old mom. I am more mature, reasoning is much better, have a job and money to provide them. Experience to pass on. and still can have fun. .. If you are too young I think you lack of experience , patience (most of all) and you are still "living" .. older your are settle down, mature.
But it depend on you. you may be young, and "have liberties and fun when older, and kid are more independent. .. BUT.. kids are never 100% independen from parent.. parenting is for the whole life, so better wait a little and live your life and accumulate experiences to make you a better parent.
