What's an "average" personality though? Not a very specific question I must say. To me average is basically being a good, decent person but there's not really anything remarkable about you that makes you stand out but why would a person need that? And then if they're above average looking to you on top of that, that means you have physical attraction to them also which is great so probably the one with average personality.
