That is soooo fucking true. When people know you have money, they won't leave you alone until they've taken all of it or seduced you into spending all of it.
While its true that people will try to take your money once they know you have it. But that doesnt mean you need to be stupid with it and give it to them.
Only an idiot would want to be rich and famous. But you can bet if I won the lottery I would absolutely claim the prize anonymously.
