Personality is more changeable, for the most part, or maybe just more personally enjoyable for me to work on. I would likely see being dumped due to my personality as constructive criticism.
I would get over a person who dumped me because of my body very quickly, but I have a feeling their judgments would linger and cause a little insecurity, depending on what they specifically didn't like.
Unfortunately people rarely state what they specifically dislike about either during a break up to save feelings, although sometimes it's not really necessary. Why say, "I see you as more of a friend... with a small dick and giant Buddha belly" when you can just leave out the harsh blows about their physique. I can't really justify withholding criticism about someone's personality though, especially if it's something that will likely repel their future interests as well.
Would you rather be dumped for your body or personality?
