It depends. Am I out in public or at home by myself? Is the cold a slight chill or life threatening? Meh, I'll stick with warm.
Shivering for 24 hours vs. Itching for 24 hours. Either way, bad enough that you can't sleep, but not bad enough to cause permanent damage.
Itching? I'll take the shivering. I dealt with a flea infestation a few years back and I don't want to itch for over 24 hours ever again. At least if I'm cold I know a lot of exercises to do to warm myself up.
