  • I'll be honest. I'd rather have Option 2. Just today, I watched a motivational speech on how to be successful and how bad you have to want it to do that. How you have to make sacrifices and be willing to put in the effort, a truly persuasive video. All my life though, not only do I label myself as introverted, I also don't like the popular lifestyle. When you have some sort of fame, people want to have what you have and know what you're doing. Some want to try to take it away by force, like the voice of Elmo. Sure you'll make a lot of friends easily and will be remembered in high honors but I prefer success on a minor scale.

Being lesser known but a good friend is more important to me. My version of success is having enough money to afford a stable home yet have a good amount for things like gaming and musical instruments as well as the ability to play them as well as I desire. I know friends who tried to rush success whether it was moving out with a partner or overloaded with academics and caused themselves to move back to their home town and/or induce a lot of stress. I'm already a nice guy, to a fault perhaps, so having just a handful of lucky people who know that is good enough for me. Maybe this outlook is due to my laid back mentality. Maybe I'm lazy. Either way, I can guarantee that I won't be stressed or targeted and guarantee someone a great friend, IF I'm allowed and kept in.
