Option 1. With all of that money and all of those unlocked possibilities, I can have the life I want. I could have kids and adopt from foster care and be able to provide them with the best life, help my family, spare money freely to those that need it without worrying about whether I'll need that money tomorrow and retire early. I've noticed in your comment that you did not state that I couldn't have a family or retire early, so given those options, that's exactly what I'd do.
Part of the reason I'm working now is to be able to provide for my future family and help my own family if I can. Maybe a stranger or friend here and there as well. If I could just have that life handed to me, that'd be fantastic. Option 2 is great, but knowing that my Mom won't languish in poverty should she become unable to work and that my children will be able to pursue their dreams free of the monetary constraint I am dealing with would be absolute paradise.
