Depends on a lot of things. If I dont find them and their story to be questionable I might. My family once picked up an old man. We considered leaving him but discussed if we should give him a ride. It was an old man who needed to get to his home. He was very friendly and said how he didn't like the old folks home. So we gave him a ride. I think there is more risk for the person hitching a ride vs the one giving it. Since when you hitch a ride a lot of people can use that to kidnap people and a lot of serial killers tend to look for "Easy targets". Lost traveler, perfect target.
