Realistically, you wouldn't really have to use your hands. You could bring in a penis sleeve or something so you wouldn't actually be touching his skin. If for some reason that wasn't possible though, then it would really depend on which friend it was and what our relationship was like. If it was my brother, then I'd probably vomit at the mere suggestion of it. (Funnily enough, I asked this exact question on Omegle a few years ago. It is an interesting scenario.)
I agree, it is an interesting scenario and your comment in particular contrasts the relationship between friends and brothers, which is a common differentiation to be made. I find it strange that people often call very close friends a brother and yet would do more for a friend than an actual brother. I think it gives insight into some fundamental aspects of human sexuality (sexuality in the broadest sense, due to the fact that this kind of action wouldn't be considered sexual in the word's typical sense by many men) and most people's automatic assumption of a sexual aspect about an action that isn't necessarily sexual in the cognitive/emotional sense of the word.
Would you masturbate your friend if he was injured?
