    Firstly, whoever said Barbie dolls? Anyway, that doesn't matter. You've just taken what flowergirl said and completely twisted it. And what other point of view is there to see... other than one that restricts a child based on stereotypical gender roles and preferences? I know a woman who lets her son paint his fingernails at home because he sees mummy doing it. But he still plays with cars and 'boys toys'. Are you the kind of person who thinks men must have short hair and women must have long hair? Sorry, but you do come across as a bit narrow minded. Also, you can't compare caveman times to now! We sort of changed... ALOT.
