Would you let your son play with dolls?

Yeah, God forbid kids be allowed to do what they want so long as it isn't hurting anyone. Your personal preference for traditional gender roles should obviously be forced onto every kid in the world, right? They don't really matter anyway, so long as your precious worldview isn't challenged.

EDIT: Your own logic suggests all men should do manly things, and by extension all pretty similar things... then you say the idea that everyone should do whatever they want is "robotic", even though that would obviously increase the diversity of behaviour. *sigh*

Well they're obviously not hard-wired, seeing as so many people don't conform to it, and they obviously don't define us as men and women seeing as there are so many men and women who don't conform to your ideals, and doing so doesn't mean they should change their gender just to fit your norms.
