There is a limited number of lifeboats, just like "Titanic" if you have seen the film, and despite the rule of 'women and children first', everyone has an equal right to sit on the lifeboat. It's just that there aren't enough spaces. The temperature is extremely cold.

Would you leave your lover on the ship and flee for your own life?

I asked a friend and she said yes. I was surprised so I wonder what everyone thinks.

    I would kill everyone on the boat just to spare them the agony of dying from the cold water.

    Then I would find Celine Dion (since we are making this up in my fantasy she would be on the boat) and we would sing a beautiful duet of "My Heart Will Go On". Then I'd kill her too.

    You can bet I would beat the hell outta that old bitch if I found out she threw that diamond overboard as well.

    No way could I leave my husband. Id try to help as many people as I could. I'd have to. The guilt would kill me otherwise

    Scared as hell. But it depends. If I'm with someone it must mean I love them more than anything - I have not had a solid 'crush' or particular liking for anyone in a LONG time, so in this given situation he'd have to be my life. If he's dead then so is my life. Die together? BUT. But. Let's say we had children, or I was pregnant. I'd try my BEST to have us both alive. All or nothing. Either we both live or perish.I'm stubborn but I know I can't get it this way.

    I could not leave my lover to die, id give my seat to them if possible. Unless I was pregnant then id save myself lol

    I think no one can answer this question honestly unless they're in that situation. Still, I value my life more than someone else's.

    I'd make a makeshift lifeboat. I think that could be pretty possible, plenty of things on a sinking ship.

    fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk i don't know how to swim! I'm going to die either way so i'd choose to stay with him. That scene where they showed the old couple in bed sleeping together....ahwwww :/ so sad

    You'll only die if you're stupid. There was a lot of wood on the titanic, and you should have both worked together to make your own life raft built for two. Otherwise, maybe natural selection has a plan for you.

      Make your own life raft!! Then you don't even have to chose and if it doesn't work you both die together.
