It depends. If they were a normal gay guy then yes, but if they were a raging fairy then no, but then again I would be put off my any presidential candidate that acted extremely effeminate.

The fact that they are gay doesn't mean jack shit. It's the policies for the country that i'm interested in, not what they do in their own private time within four walls.

But all else equal, I would strive to never vote for a homo. Gay rights and shit are way to politicized and I don't like a lot of the by products of using that to ones political advantage.

I would not support someone who made identity politics a part of their platform. Sexuality has nothing to do with running a country.

If they were known homosexual and ran on their ideas, ideas that I agreed with, I'd vote for them regardless of sexual preference.
