Not trying to be mean or start anything. Just wondering if whether someone is gay or straight would have any effect on you if you go voting? Would Pete Buttigieg being gay and married to another man affect how you would vote for him?

It depends. If they were a normal gay guy then yes, but if they were a raging fairy then no, but then again I would be put off my any presidential candidate that acted extremely effeminate.
The fact that they are gay doesn't mean jack shit. It's the policies for the country that i'm interested in, not what they do in their own private time within four walls.
The "LGBT" movement is controlled by the people who sell the hormone therapy etc. Also im pretty sure most gay people don't agree with taking kids to a pride parade where grown men are shakimg their asses in thongs
Cause most gay guys are absolutely terrible to transwomen. That and the LGBT community is pure cancer so I would hold out some cynicism for him. Some distrust so to speak.
Are gays mean to trans people because they think they're a traitor in a sense? Like they believe you are an issue because you are pushing gay people to turn trans?
There's a movement in the gay community of non hetero cis people segregating themselves from trans people. The logic is trans is about gender identity and not sexuality, and the ridiculousness of some trans people embarrasses them as a group.
No ones pushing gayz to turn trans as far as I know. They push us not to transition. They see us as competition or something it's crazy. Gay guys are the worst. Women in my experince have been mostly chill
I mean if he was a conservative that had really good policies that I agreed with it I could see myself looking past that.
But all else equal, I would strive to never vote for a homo. Gay rights and shit are way to politicized and I don't like a lot of the by products of using that to ones political advantage.

I would not support someone who made identity politics a part of their platform. Sexuality has nothing to do with running a country.
If they were known homosexual and ran on their ideas, ideas that I agreed with, I'd vote for them regardless of sexual preference.
That being said I am not allowed to vote so it doesn't matter what I think.
