I have met online acquaintances before and they were pleasant experiences. I would do it again. Keep in mind that I had an online association for a few years before we actually met so I had the opportunity to really get to know these people. I don't think I would jump at an opportunity to meet up with someone I just met online.

no. my friend had a girlfriend in the U.K. that he met after a few months.

T.T I have my mother riding up my ass about trying to take a trip to meet a “friend” this summer. It might not happen and its making my really upset.
