Wow that's an even worse perspective on this than I thought.
I believe in natural rights. Something that's inherent in humans as not being animals. It's not something given by goverments. Your life is dictated by your goverment.
Yes its exactly like the jews from nazi germany. You think the proclamation came in a single day for them to be loaded on those trains? No it was a gradual process that got the non jews of germany to hate on the jews. I see no difference to the unvaccinated people who hold ZERO threat towards the vaccinated population as that's what the VACCINE is supposed to do. Protect from the virus. Let the unvaccinated get sick due to not getting the vaccine.
Its unacceptable for a goverment to require to have their citizens get an invasive medical procedure that doesnt even have a long term effect case study. I'm vaccinated (And dont believe that it's dangerous) but I'm not for forcing others to do so.
How is the unvaccinated a threat?! Its a VIRUS that mutates rapidly. Its ever going to go away so what's it gonna be in the future? Lockdowns for everyone who hasnt taken the recent booster from big pharma? You are putting way too much faith in your goverment doing what's right. Your goverment has no authority on what shit needs to go into their bodies. Might I add there are numerous conditions that make it unsafe to get the vaccine. What about those people? What about people who hold religious beliefs that dont want fetal stem cell reseached vaccines?
Australia is acting more and more like china every day and its unnerving to see that happen to a western country.
I don’t believe in natural rights. That’s a simple opinion, you can not convince or force “natural rights” onto an argument as fact, so throw it out all together.
I don’t think you give your government enough credit for protecting you, there are meaner people out there, your fictitious “natural rights” will not protect you from a dog with a bigger bite.
If a government wanting to vaccinate its citizens to reduce death in the country is akin to nazi germany, the strain from the shit I just took is my personal 9/11
When your people get sick it’s expensive. Expensive to sterilize, to put them through expensive treatment, who is meant to pay for that ? I board horses at my stable, if your horses are not up to date on their vaccinations I will not accept them at my barn. No one has a right to my barn or my services. You have no right to your country or what it provides.
You won’t vaccinate yourself, fine. Do not enter public schools, parks, private businesses have every right to refuse you, and do not use medical attention. Die in the street if you do not want to protect yourself, even then your infected body will be a burden to bury.
Sorry Kholat, you understand it, Lloyd just doesn't. America is really only different from most countries in one way. That is, they don't see citizenship like membership in a club where you share the benefits. But rather, you're expected to be independent, find your own opportunities, and pursue them with your own enthusiasm. There's no party line viewpoint on anything. Everyone says whatever the fuck they think. As a result, Americans are used to a higher level of social chaos. Lloyd is a good example. His whacko ignorance about China, and paranoia of authoritarian politics is just typical everyday noise in American society. There's also reasonable people here with international business experience that understand tolerance in diplomacy. Constructive chaos here, diversity, and random conditions work together in unexpectedly effective ways. You get used to it after awhile.
Though I applaud that elegant grasp at american independence culture.
Though I still hate china, not going to talk me into how their slavery and sweatshops that make their manufacturing sector unfair is somehow justified in the 21 century. Nor their extreme level of persecution of the everyman that had the gall to say their goverment sucks.
Theres objective reasons why I hate china. I hate to see a country slowly revert to such an authoritarian system because a group of people are scared of a 99% survival rate virus.
Paranoia about the goverment is completely normal/expected in america honestly I dont know how the rest of the world deals with the fact their goverment lies to their faces. Or worse actually believe their goverment is doing everything in their power to provide the best they can for their citizens in a rational way.
Nobody cares, dude. Go think whatever the fuck you want. I have no problem with Chinese industry enslaving their people. I have no problem with you thinking that your ideals in ‘Murica would work anywhere in the world. If you hate my guts bcuz I think there is no universal social model that’s optimal, I don’t give a damn.
What people outside of America don’t understand is that chaotic disagreement between ’Murica idealists like you and small time international business consultants like me is normal chaotic shit in our country. You and I eat at the same restaurants, cheer for the same sports teams, and we both keep the economy running.
Kholat wouldn’t know this. He is used to more cohesive cultural identity, as are people from many countries. America is not like that. Canada is not really like that either.
PS. I gave you a thumb bump bcuz I hate agreeing with people. Spirited assholeism in idealistic discussions makes life more amusing. Thanks for representing the opposing viewpoint.
America offers a balance to individual freedom and the societal toll it requires to continue to function. Natural rights are simple enough to be both represented in law and to be used by individuals. Dont want to live in society? Sure be excluded if you want and be a hermit. But the "majority" society cant make the unilateral arbitrary decision to exclude the minority from society. That's not morally, socially, or ethically ok.
Of the people for the people.
It's not up to the goverment to govern how people want to dictate how long they want to live for or what practices they must undertake to live for longer. If you wanna eat garbage, balloon up to 400 pounds and die at 35 you can do that. To me that's beautiful. Because you have the freedom to kill yourself however slowly you want.
I know too much shit about China and I do not like the parallels with Australia's recent activities.
Would you ever consider living in Australia?
