To answer your question, not that it really matters, yes I would. If you care about something that much, then you would sacrifice yourself to save a loved one. I can't really see why anyone would put their lives at risk to save a random animal - I'm sure a handful of people would though.
Surely the large DERP gave it away when I responded.
Why not? Animals are adorable and people seem to have a stronger attraction to them even more so than each other. I mean you could watch a person die no big deal unless you know them. However you hear about a cat or puppy dying and everyone is in tears. Perhaps its the fact we see the animal as something pure and innocent like a child.
Would you die saving your pet or an animal?
