Now to a lot of people out there, politics means very little, especially to Generation Y according to recent studies.
Anyways, what I'm trying to get at is would you date someone who was on the opposite side of the political spectrum as you? For example, if you were very right wing, would you date someone who was strongly leftist and vice versa. Also would you date a "fence-sitter" if you were strongly political?
Without debating this topic here; I think that anyone that is a right winger or left winger honestly believes the opposite spectrum to be wrong or misinformed. That does not make a good foundation for a relationship. If you are a wishy washy right/left and you date someone similar but the opposite it may not be a problem, but it could easily become one, if either person suddenly becomes more interested in politics.
To be perfectly honest I do not agree with the extremely liberal mind set. As well as that people I meet who are extremely liberal are narrow minded, narcissistic, think they are smarter than everyone else, expect you to believe everything they tell you, if your not with them you are against them and are very willing to toss their money and diploma at you when you do not agree with them. Which I hate people like that. I don't care about anyone's fucking diploma and rich daddy. It might just be where I lived though but everyone I knew was like that and I hate when people toss money at you. Makes me want to break their faces.
It all depends. If the Woman is either extremely left or right wing then I have a problem.
I don't consider myself a Democrat or Republican, I view both sides, do some research, and vote on who is the best candidate. Some people I know would stand by their Political Party even if that party would poison their drinking water with PCPs.
i dont know...i think where you are on the political sprectrum says a lot about your morals, and i strongly disagree with a lot of left wing views...
although i do have a couple friends that are very liberal and we just like to debate some things but never let it turn into a fight. those are friends though, so im really not sure.
