Would you consider this cutting in line?

I was in line at a store. A woman who was sitting outside the store with a kid eating a dount comes in and starts ordering before me.

I calmly said, are you ordering? I was here first. Then the guy in front of me goes oh she was here before. She walked out because it was crowed.

So, the woman behind the counter asks whose next. I said that's according to whether walking off a line counts as being in line. The woman let me go. The guy who was before me got in my face calling me a rude bitch in front of his kids. He actually didn't even hear my comment he just saw that I ordered first and said you ordered first you're rude bitch. He also said she had a kid and called me a bitch again. It was scary he was all in my face and his own kids were standing right there.

That said, am I crazy to think you can't just walk out of a store, sit outside and eat a donut and get your place back in line just because you have a kid?
