Meh, I'd have to disagree with you. I don't think it's usual at all for a relationship to have three people within them. I'm not saying it's wrong I'm just saying that I think that it's just not usual.
If you're equating usual with meaning more likely than not, then yes, it's not "usual". What I said was that it wasn't that unusual, meaning it's going on a lot more than many people would suspect. I suppose it comes down to who you're friends with and what sort of things they do. In my world there are people wondering why they can't find a monogamous partner as "poly" is the norm. But hey, YMMV.
