If a guy asked you out while he was dating someone else, or was dating you and asked someone else out would you go along with it?
Not secret relationships but open knowledge of this, its simply he would have 2 girlfriends and you would be one of them.
In this scenario, he would not go with anyone but you two, and you would be loyal to him.
Could you accept this?

Many people have relationships like this, it's outside the parameters of what society says is normal, but it's not all the unusual either.
Meh, I'd have to disagree with you. I don't think it's usual at all for a relationship to have three people within them. I'm not saying it's wrong I'm just saying that I think that it's just not usual.
If you're equating usual with meaning more likely than not, then yes, it's not "usual". What I said was that it wasn't that unusual, meaning it's going on a lot more than many people would suspect. I suppose it comes down to who you're friends with and what sort of things they do. In my world there are people wondering why they can't find a monogamous partner as "poly" is the norm. But hey, YMMV.
Wow, it would be amazing if everyone was this honest. Most people just go out and cheat. If someone asked me to be their second partner and said they had another person but the person was okay with it and they proved it I would be happy they were honest. I might or might not take it depending on what sort of arrangement it was and how okay the other person was with it.
Like did they want me as FWB, did they want me as a sex/slave/S&M partner, did they want me as another person who they value equally as the other partner. Am I hooked up with both people or just the person who asked me be the third wheel?
You would be some one who go along with an open marriage. If that is your thing, go for it. Many people are OK doing this.

add one more reason to arguing and stuff but if you're cool with it I don't see the problem
I'm on the fence about this. I'm bi so it could be like having the best of both worlds but I just don't see how that could work in the long run. I'd be more open to the thought of having 2 boyfriends or 2 girlfriends to enjoy my time with temporarily. It wouldn't be anything serious though.
