Would you call this cheating?
If a wife gives her husband permission to sleep with another woman would you call this cheating?
I wouldn't because she gave him permission but I know people who still say its cheating so what do you guys think?

It suits some people very well: it's not without its issues, but then neither is monogamy in my experience, the biggest one being the expectation that one person can meet all another person's needs long term. I'm not saying that's impossible but it's rare and trying to achieve it leads to a lot of frustration and resentment and far to often, dishonesty and cheating.
I don't think it's really up to you to endorse or not endorse it for other people though.

Well, OP asked, and I answered with my personal opinion. I would personally rather be alone than share. I'm afraid to say this, because I don't wanna jinx myself, but it would be nice if my long, tall Texan turned out to be "the one". I don't wanna force anything. Que Sera Sera... yanno? Still I want the kinda relationship where my man and I are best friends, lovers and partners, where we pour ourselves into each other.
I'm feeling zombiesque, because he's flying in from Houston tonight, and I've been cleaning the house for the past 12 hours, I've been running on vitamins, and just 3 1/2 hours of sleep. I feel like I ought to be nervous, but I'm too tired.
