To me, the management is not just "authority" but also kind of like a friend. I don't quite understand your quarrel with him, but I do find it funny reading some of your comments.
Also, if you wanted to look at it from a logical standpoint, IIN users want red sheep plushies made right? TheManagement requested information on how to make this happen. It makes sense for other users to thumbs up his comment to give it more importance so it will be seen first and thus more likely to get a response.
It's not a quarrel with him, it's disgust with how people react to authority. Your second statement makes infinitely more sense than your first, but I still take issue with all the red sheep swarming to the shepherd all the same.
Well, I don't really view it that way. I don't see TheManagement as some all-powerful authority figure that inevitably needs to be rebelled against. I generally don't even like authority. To me, TheManagement is kind of like a band that appreciates and listens to their fans. I have had nothing but good impressions from TheManagement, and He even made a few of my suggestions before. How awesome is that! If I tried to go on Youtube and suggest something, do you think it would happen? Hell no, probably not.
I disagree. Again, it has nothing to do with the man himself, but it's hard to argue that people don't respond differently ("holy shit, the management is posting in my story!"). You said it yourself in your first comment. A responsive band is fine with me, but rabid fans are still abhorrent.
Anyway, ultimately, we disagree and you have a better argument than I do. I'll keep thinking about it.
Would you buy any of these if the IIN Store sold it?

It's because we like it when the management posts something :)

Why? Content becomes irrelevant when it comes from authority?
