After 66 years on this planet, the human race, in general, has shown me absolutely no reason why I would want to save it from cancer. Of course there are many good and decent individuals, but as a whole, I would be saving them so that they could continue to massacre, rape, hate and exploit each other en masse.
So no, not in this case.
