Members of my family have been targets of kidnapping and robbery a number of times. Children that are targets aren't told, but the adults get informed. It's no fun being informed, but you do feel better with a threat you know rather than one you don't.

Interesting. Are they public figures or do they live in a dangerous place like Columbia or something?
