Would you like to know if you've ever been in the sights of or an intended victim of a violent criminal (serial killer, kidnapper, rapist, armed robber, etc)-living or dead- and find out what changed their mind about attacking you? Assume this would not affect your safety in any way, don't let that affect how you answer please!!

    Not really. I wouldn't want to shatter my own image of "there isn't anything particularly special about me" that I've worked so hard to maintain.

    When i was 15 years old i was hitchhiking in Bakersfield, ca got picked up by a real weirdo who turns the car out into the Desert & says it's a short cut........

    Members of my family have been targets of kidnapping and robbery a number of times. Children that are targets aren't told, but the adults get informed. It's no fun being informed, but you do feel better with a threat you know rather than one you don't.

    I'm pretty sure a guy planne dto rape me once.he was very intent on getting me up in the woods alone with him and when I told hin NO he got pissed an went away.I also had that "feeling" you know? Natures watnign sign?

    Few weeks later I found out he tried to rape a girl I knew...

    It depends, I wouldnt be inbterested as in wanting to know why they would do it but more interested to know incase Ido something that was the original reason for them targeting me. Basicly I would want to know so I can keep my safety and have some knowledge if they would target me again.
