Would you allow your child to have unsupervised social media accounts?

Holy shit I'm confused

Isn't a parent's job to protect their child from childish mistakes?

Yes, I'd trust my child..
Yes, I would still monitor them, it will always be normal, and we will always be open about everything from day one, i won't hide my problems or daily stuggles from my kid... that's a mistake my parent's made. too much of the what to tell and what not to tell, tell everything... it teaches honesty and accountability. My kid will know everything about me.
