Yeh, life and people were more simple. You could write or cash checks more easily without the strict bs, of course like with many things, you can thank all the stupid people who did things to make nobody trust each other anymore. Airports security, you once didn't have to take your shoes off, you didn't have security patting you down assuming everybody might be a terrorist, and family and friends could walk with you to or greet you right at the gate. Again, you can thank all the idiots who got their orgasms sneaking bombs onto planes, hijacking, and deciding their own way to get rid of the two tallest towers in New York and permanently altering the so loved and well known Manhattan skyline.
