I'm going bald relatively young (I'm not even 20) and I'm worried I'll look weird bald, as I have an irregularly shaped skull. I don't really want to use Rogaine or products like it, as they have many side effects.

Wear one if you like, but keep in mind some people can easily see you're wearing one. Maybe make it your shtick? Like buy a bunch of different styles of wigs and wear a different one everyday? Then again, wigs require maintenance, especially the ones made from real hair. XD
Don't do a wig. shave your head with a razor, grow a huge beard, get fat and buy a leather jacket

I would think also it can depend if You are Male or female. No matter what females get away with a lot more when it comes to fashion and how people present themself in public. But like the rest of them said, some are very easy to to see. The movie actor Tommy Lee Jones if you watch his movies you will notice a off color that's slide to blend in with skin tone, up on his forehead. That's a very obvious to me anyway. But you might find something that will work much better for you, or dont. Or just live with it. I used to hate the idea of losing my hair at 19, I finally have up and started shaving my head.
Bald is fine. Wigs well that is just fake.
The buzzcut is fine. No worries.
Most people when wearing wigs, it is easy to tell. Maybe if they have a hair piece that blends in to what they have it is not so bad but I would think having to wear a wig would be a hassle.
Also, if you d go to a hair growth doctor, they might be able to help, but make sure they take whatever insurance you have.
I heard PRP therapy has good results also. And propecia is another medicine thats supposed to work good. Call that hairclub for men number. If you have enough money you dont have to go bald if you dont want to.
