    Yes you will still carry the red haired gene.
    Genes do not change even if appearances do.

    That's why there are recessive genes passed through generations and such because people carry so many gene codes. However we can only display a select few.

      Thanks. That's mildly good to know. I never paid attention to genetics when I was in school and searching Google was vague
