Today is my birthday and this girl I'm friends with wished me a happy birthday on Whatsapp, she called me '' my love '' and said '' I know I haven't seen much of you lately, but you're always on my thoughts and on my mind, we'll find a way to be together <3 ''

I wouldn't want to misunderstand and ruin our friendship but that text sounded way too '' intimate '' for a friend. Thoughts?

    women don't communicate the same way men do. I'd wait for more obvious confirmation, as tealights said above, she could just be trying to make you laugh.

    She's being dramatic on purpose to make you laugh. Believe me, my female friends and I do it all the time, especially if we haven't seen each other in a while. However, I noticed my male friends never joke like this, so if you're a guy I can understand how this may seem weird to you.
